A native of Buckley, Washington, DiCugno won her first high school girls state championship as a junior. DiCugno has had a ton of success in the state of Washington winning tournaments like The Pride of Lady Lion in 2018, and the Kelso girls tournament in 2019. DiCugno also won the WSWA cadet Pacific Northwest women's freestyle tournament while finishing as the runner up in the junior division in 2019.
