Magomedmurad Gadzhiev is a veteran freestyle wrestler who has competed under the Russian and Polish flags. He won a gold medal at the Oslo 2021 World Championships at 70 kg, becoming the first Polish wrestler to win a world title. He originates from Dagestan and represented Russia through 2012. Since, he has competed for Poland. Career accolades include four-time European Championships finalist, two-time European Champion, 2017 World Championships silver medalist, Ivan Yarygin Champion, and Junior World Champion.
