The Journeymen Collegiate Classic is back this Sunday! Hundreds of wrestlers from over 20 college programs will be in Freedom High School in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania to participate in a round-robin style tournament.

One of the most underrated tournaments of the year kicks off this weekend as the U23 Men's Freestyle Nationals is set to begin Saturday, June 1 at 9:30 AM and conclude Sunday, June 2 with a best two of three series that will begin at 10:00 AM (all times eastern).

The U23 Nationals and U20 World Team Trials brackets will be both massive (mostly the U23 ones) and stacked with some of the most talented and credentialed college wrestlers in the country.

The #2 Missouri Tigers will travel to Ithaca, New York, to take on the 11th-ranked Cornell Big Red on Sunday afternoon. The dual will be streamed on ESPN+. The last time these two teams met was December 30th, 2019. Missouri had an 18-3 lead going into 174, but Cornell won the last four matches with bonus points from Ben Darmstadt and Brendan Furman to win 19-18. With several toss-up matches and multiple top-10 matchups, this dual has the potential to be just as exciting.

There was a fairly substantial amount of upsets in the eighth week of the 2023-24 NCAA D1 wrestling season.

The 2023 Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational is set to go down on December 1-2 and will be the best in-season tournament of the year. Check out the below article for a breakdown and predictions of 125-141 at this year’s CKLV.

The 125-pound class appears to be wide open following the graduation of three wrestlers who reached the NCAA tournament finals at least once. Most notable is Iowa’s three-time NCAA champion Spencer Lee who transcended the sport with his masterful top game and his ability to score points in bunches.

The 2023 NCAA Wrestling National Championships saw Yianni Diakomihalis join the ultra elite club of four-time NCAA champs, of which only four other wrestlers can claim membership.

While Ohio State and Cornell aren’t in the same conference, and don’t regularly dual each other, between CKLV and NCAAs, some of their wrestlers have gotten quite familiar with each other. It will be a fun dual that could go either way when the two meet in Tampa, Florida. However, that familiarity could be the difference maker. Major league collegiate wrestling is coming to the Sunshine State thanks to Spartan Combat. The #4 Cornell Big Red are taking on #7 Ohio State in a titanic out-of-conference clash to close out both programs' respective regular seasons this Saturday afternoon at 1:00pm ET.
