After failing to make Final X at 86 kg, Zahid Valencia moves up and immediately becomes the favorite. He gets the #1 spot ahead of US Open champion Mike Macchiavello due to his level of success at 86 and the fact that he is undefeated at 92 with the same best win as Macchiavello in Kollin Moore.

Things get a little tricky #4 - #8. Tanner Sloan beat Nate Jackson in the first round, but Jackson came back for third, defeating Eric Schultz, Jay Aiello, and Morgan McIntosh on the backside while Sloan lost to Schultz in the consi semis. Jackson's resume over the past two years and backside performance keep him at #4. While Aiello beat Schultz in the first round, Schultz came back for 4th place and is now 5-1 all-time against Aiello in freestyle. Sloan's win over Jackson, who defeated Aiello, brings him in right above Aiello. Aiello does, however, jump over McIntosh with the nice Schultz win.
