2023-24 NCAA DI Rankings
125 - Braeden Davis
Braeden Davis takes over the top spot at 125 pounds after defeating Eric Barnett, Patrick McKee, and Michael DeAugustino. Though Davis lost to Ayala head-to-head during the dual, the final result at Big 10s and Davis' overall resume gives him the #1 spot.
Luke Stanich stays behind Drake Ayala even though Ayala dropped a match to DeAugustino at Big 10s and Stanich won EIWAs. When looking at their seasons, Ayala has better victories with wins over Matt Ramos, Dean Peterson, Eric Barnett, Troy Spratley, Braeden Davis, Patrick McKee, Caleb Smith, and Jore Volk. Stanich has put together a fantastic year but his victories over Brett Ungar, Cooper Flynn, Eric Barnett, Diego Sotelo, and Ethan Berginc don't compare to the strength of Ayala's wins.
Jore Volk Moves up 9 spots after winning Big 12s with victories over Troy Spratley, Noah Surtin, and Tanner Jordan.
Jakob Camacho continues his rise in the rankings after winning ACC's and defeating Cooper Flynn in the finals.
Richard Figueroa moves up six spots after his wins over Brandon Kaylor and Nico Provo to win a PAC 12 title.
Dean Peterson defeated Matt Ramos and Michael DeAugustino to move up to #14.
Several other upsets resulted in changes at the weight but we'll limit our explanation to the top 15. The rest of the movement fell in line with the results from the conference tournaments.
