61kg - Abasgadzhi Magomedov
2021 World Champion Abasgadzhi Magomedov comes in at #1. Magomedov defeated #2 Zhumashbek Uulu back in March and recently won Russian Nationals in June. Despite the loss to Magomedov, Taiyrbek Zhumashbek Uulu has been on an incredible run over the past year. Back in November, Zhumashbek Uulu wrestled at the Bill Farrell at 65kg and teched Nick Lee on his way to gold. Since then, he's won three straight international tournaments at 61kg while recording wins over Arsen Harutyunyan, #8 Jahongirmirza Turobov, and Shota Phartenadze.
Vito Arujau comes in at #4 after his bronze medal performance in Budapest. There, he lost to 57kg world champ Zelimkhan Abakarov but defeated 2022 61kg world bronze medalist #5 Narankhuu Narmandakh.
