2024 International Wrestling Rankings

65 kg - Ismail Musukaev

Kotaro Kiyooka moves up to #6 after defeating Ismail Musukaev, Austin Gomez, and Abbas Ebrahimzadeh to win the Budapest Ranking Series tournament. While Kiyooka came away with gold, he notably lost to Haji Aliyev in the round-robin portion of the tournament. Because of that loss, Kiyooka fails to climb higher in the rankings.

Despite the loss to Kiyooka, Ismail Musukaev stays at the #1 spot based on his wins over Shamil Mamedov and Rahman Amouzad at last year's world championships. It's also worth noting that Amouzad and Mamedov have taken losses since the world championships - Amouzad lost to Tumur-Ochir and Mamedov lost to Abdulmazhid Kudiev.

As always, we’d love to hear your feedback - if you have thoughts send them over by email to Jonathan.Kozak@flosports.tv or @KozakJon on Twitter.
