2024-25 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings

197 - Stephen Buchanan

Rocky Elam has been dropped from the rankings due to inactivity. On top of that, we received news that Elam may not wrestle at all this season. Due to that uncertainty, we feel it's best to keep Elam out of the rankings until further notice.

Isaiah Salazar drops behind Smith and Surber after losing to Aeoden Sinclair and Cody Merrill at the Soldier Salute. Though Sinclair has accumulated a few ranked wins this year, he'll likely stay in redshirt and will stay out of the rankings. 

Evan Bates, Nick Stemmett, and John Poznanski all drop after suffering upsets at the Midlands. Bates lost to Dillon Bechtold (who comes in at #31) but defeated Nick Stemmet. Stemmet lost to Sollars and falls four spots. Poznanski also drops four spots after losing to Sollars. 

Sollars comes into the rankings at #30 for his wins over Stemmet and Poznanski. Despite those wins, Sollars has unranked losses on the year to JT Davis and Luke Cochran. Beyond that, Sollars also has a loss this year to #29 Camden McDanel. Those results keep Sollars from rising higher in the rankings.
