2024-25 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings
141 - Andrew Alirez
Cael Happel defeated Brock Hardy in Northern Iowa’s win over Nebraska. That result brings Happel up to #5 in the rankings. Though Happel lost to Julian Tagg this year, Happel has several ranked wins on his ledger over the past two seasons including multiple victories over Tagen Jamison, Sergio Lemley, and Brock Hardy.
Josh Edmond dropped a match to Josh Saunders - that result brings Edmond down to #13 and brings Saunders into the rankings at #23.
Mosha Schwartz had a tough Southern Scuffle losing to Tyson Sherlock and Jayden Scott. Those losses drop Schwartz 8 spots but he is kept from falling further for his career wins over Josh Edmond, Casey Swiderski, and Josh Koderhandt.
Dylan Cedeno had a fantastic Southern Scuffle winning the title with notable victories over Jayden Scott, Braden Basile, and Shannon Hanna. Cedeno wrestled last year at 157 pounds so he doesn’t have many head-to-head matches against wrestlers in this field. Because of that, Cedeno comes into the rankings at #25 just ahead of Jayden Scott and Shannon Hanna.
Richard Treanor defeated Shannon Hanna and teammate Brade Basile. With that result, Treanor enters the rankings just ahead of Hanna.
Eligh Rivera defeated Jordan Titus dropping Titus behind Rivera to #32 in the rankings.
Kai Owen dropped a match to unranked Ryan Hartung. Because of that result, Owen falls four spots to #33 but Owen stays in the rankings for his win this year over Josh Saunders and wins last year over Malyk Hines, Cael Happel, and Greyson Clark.
