2024-25 NCAA DI Wrestling Rankings

149 - Caleb Henson

Paniro Johnson has taken over the spot at 149 pounds for the Cyclones and enters the rankings at #9. Johnson is somewhat challenging to rank because most of his matches this year have been at 157 and 165. However, 2 season ago, Johnson notched significant wins over Shayne Van Ness and Austin Gomez. Johnson's also suffered losses to wrestlers outside of the top 10 so we felt #9 was appropriate for his resume.

Kannon Webster drops 4 spots after losing to Dylan D'Emilio and Sam Cartella. Webster has a win on the year over Jesse Vasquez so Webster holds at #15.

Malyke Hines re-enters the rankings at #33 after defeating #20 Ethan Fernandez. Hines suffered recent unranked losses to August Hibler and Kade Brown that keep him from entering the rankings higher. Though Fernandez suffered the loss, he holds at #20 for his wins on the year over Koy Buesgnes and Jesse Vasquez.

Gabe Willochell drops 4 spots after losing to Mason Shrader - Willochell's win this year against Carter Young keeps him from dropping further. Though Shrader's win was significant over Willochell, Shrader also lost to Avery Allen. Allen doesn't have a resume strong enough to enter the top 33 so Shrader holds at #30.
