2024-25 NCAA Women's College Wrestling Rankings
117 pounds
1. This set of ranking includes a plethora of results, including the Pointer Open, the Luther Hill Open, the Maverick Open, the Princeton Open, the ESU Open, the Tiffin Open, Eagle Madness, Eagle Madness Duals, the Adrian Open, Adrian Duals, and a few random duals.
2. Please note that we do not rank more than two women from the same school, as the rankings reflect the NCAA postseason, where no more than two are allowed to enter per weight from each program. That said, there were several weights where we had to remove the lowest-ranked wrestlers from programs that had more than two rankable athletes. Most notable: Iowa 110-pound freshman Valerie Solorio of Iowa, who has already had several big college wins; Iowa redshirt sophomore Ella Schmit at 145 is a previous All-American; North Central freshman Sydney Perry at 145 is a high school hammer who is already shining on the college stage; and North Central senior Brittyn Corbishley, who was fifth in the NCAA last season, but happens to be in the most competitive room in the country for the 180-pound weight class.
3. Please note that we do not count forfeits or medical forfeits against a wrestler’s ranking. This was a factor at several weights.
4. There are two new #1’s: Iowa’s Sterling Dias at 103 after her teammate Emilie Gonzalez moved up a weight, and King’s Claire Dicugno at 138 after a stellar start to her junior season.
