Class Of 2019 Big Board
Kerkvliet Ascends As #1 in Class of 2019
It's been a while. Since December 12th, in fact.
Nearly six months since we've updated the Class of 2019 Big Board. As those in that graduating class are now just about done with their Junior year of high school, this update is perhaps the most important of any at this time of year.
There's been an awful lot of flux in the Top 100. Twenty-eight new faces grace the Junior Big Board.
Forty of the Top 100 are already committed.
At the Top
Pick your poison. This is purely a subjective ranking (as all Big Boards are). If you lean Cohlton Schultz as the #1 prospect from the class, I don't blame you. The kid has won everywhere in every style. For Nomad and I, we like the recent results of Kerkvliet and his projected development.
McHenry, after a loss to Trevor Mastrogiovanni, slides down two spots.
Big Movers
Among the Top 10, Andrew Alirez is the biggest riser with fantastic results from the JR Trials. Also, notice Colorado with three of the top seven prospects in the country!
Fargo Champ Abe Assad jumps from #83 to #13 after winning both styles in Akron; the freestyle bracket was one of the deepest in recent memory.
Watch for the Class of 2020 Big Board in a week or so as that class too was majorly affected by the results in Akron.
