NCAA Rankings 2017-18
141: Young Dynamite
One of the most entertaining weight classes all year lived up to the hype in Cleveland. Sa'Derian Perry arrived at Quicken Loans Arena with a losing record but shocked everyone by placing eighth. Perhaps no one was more shocked than the Eastern Michigan University administrators, who days later announced they were shutting the entire program down, despite wrestling now being one of the most successful teams on campus. It could be very convincingly argued that the EMU admins are not very good at their jobs.
Elsewhere, Eli Stickley got revenge on Nate Limmex and earned a top 20 rankings, while the latter fell several spots. All-American Tommy Thorn shockingly went 0-2 at the NCAAs and fell out of the top 20.
