Barnett, who has been like a yo-yo in the rankings, makes his way back up. Last year's Super 32 finalist left little to argue with as he blasted his way through a monster weight that included the #2 and #3 wrestlers, a host of tough graduates, and 2017 Cadet Champs Ragusin and Surtin.
Reeves beat Tagg in one semi. Barnett beat Biscoglia, who had teched Mastro.
Ybarra beat Crookham and then Crookham lost to an unranked wrestler. Tough to drop him much further with his resume which includes a 2-0 record vs. Bouzakis and 1-0 vs. Renteria. Same situation with Molton-Ragusin. Head to head for Molton, with Ragusin having much better overall resume at this point.
Rathjen beat Travis.
