NCAA Rankings 2018-19

133 Seth Gross

Micky Phillippi took the express train into the top 10 thanks to a superb CKLV that saw him topple Cam Sykora, Ethan Lizak and Luke Pletcher, the latter two both being All-Americans. Only Nick Suriano could cool off the red-hot Phillippi in the finals.

Austin Gomez enters the top 20 in the most dramatic manner possible, beating Austin DeSanto in a packed and frenzied Carver-Hawkeye Arena.

All-American Montorie Bridges took a few more losses in Vegas but also had a couple nice wins, including one over Korbin Myers to tread water at #13.

Now down at 133, Chas Tucker enters the ranking with wins over Dylan Duncan and Ben Thornton, both at CKLV. Tucker's only losses on the season are to Pletcher and Lizak.

Also making a top-20 appearance after a strong CKLV is Noah Gonser, who beat Bridges and bubble candidate Casey Cobb of Navy. Colin Valdiviez of Northwestern meanwhile tumbles out of the top 20 after a loss to Cobb. The new entries at 133 leaves no more room for Matt Schmitt at West Virginia and Tucker Sjomeling of Nebraska.
