2020-21 Missouri High School Rankings
2020-21 Missouri High School Rankings: 220
COVID-19 has made it difficult to gauge the growth of the wrestlers, and the weights will more than likely change. Even if someone has wrestled in the summer, he will most likely be at a different weight in the future. Also, Missouri doesn’t release team classifications until the beginning of the season, so classes for teams and wrestlers could change. One big change is Class 1 powerhouse Whitfield will probably be moving up to Class 3 after winning the last four Class 1 titles and six of the last eight. All rankings are based on weights from last year.
Xavier Doolin is currently ranked #1 as the former Preseason National finalist took second last year to nationally ranked Chase Stegall. Doolin is probably a 197 in college and could go 195 this year. He is long and athletic and hammer on top. Drayke Perry of Neosho is next in line and looks to defend his Class 3 state title. Cole Gripke comes in at #3 after beating 2019 Preseason Nationals champion Keith Miley of Whitfield in the finals of the state tournament. Miley will be moving up to Class 3 and face off against Perry this coming year.
