2020-21 NCAA Division II Rankings
NCAA DII Team Rankings
St. Cloud State has won four out of the last five national championships, and they are starting off the season as the favorites to repeat those honors. St. Cloud comes in with seven ranked athletes, highlighted by Garrett Vos, Joey Bianchini, Jake Barzowski, Devin Fitzpatrick, Noah Ryan, and Kameron Teacher leading the way.
Central Oklahoma is coming in with seven ranked wrestlers as well, led by Tanner Cole, Ty Lucas, Heath Gray, and Dalton Abney. UCO also added transfer Paxton Rosen from Campbell who will look to slot in somewhere to help the team. Nebraska-Kearney is sitting with seven in the rankings as well, led by Josh Portillo, Wesley Dawkins, Sam Turner, and Matt Malcolm. McKendree is coming in at number four, with six of their own in the top fifteen. McKendree is going to be led by Juwan Edmond, Nate Smalling, Josh Jones, and Ryan Vasbinder. Also look at McKendree who has a couple of freshmen in there who will be making some noise as well this season. Rounding out our top five is Lindenwood. Lindenwood will be leaning on the likes of Colby Smith, Gavin Londoff, and Abner Romero. One Lion to watch is Isaac Jacquez, little brother of former Lindenwood standout, Carlos Jacquez.
One other note, keep an eye on perennial powers Pitt-Johnstown and Notre Dame who are a little down the rankings. They both lost a number of starters off of last year's squad, but these two teams have shown the ability to reload year in and year out.
