This weight was fun to watch unfold. Jesuroga dealt with health issues during the state tournament, Avila was denied of his fourth state title, Downey emerged as the champion in a 3A bracket that included three other state champs. Jesuroga didn't get punished here for defaulting to sixth place. His regular-season resume speaks for itself.
