Returning NCAA champion Max Dean closed out the regular season 17-2 and picked up a fall over returning All-American Gavin Hoffman a few weeks ago. Silas Allred moved up to the #2 ranking at 197 pounds in the Big Ten after defeating Zach Braunagel by fall a couple of weeks ago. This weight class in the Big Ten along with the rest of the 197-pound field in the NCAA will be fun to follow conference weekend as many of these athletes have mixed results against one another and matchups have shown to be very impactful.
