This weight will look different this season with Gage Curry’s graduation, Sam Latona’s move up to 133 and Jakob Camacho’s absence due to injury created a vacancy in the North Carolina State lineup. Jarrett Trombley is expected to be the starter for the Wolfpack at 125 pounds in place of Camacho. Trombley has spent his whole career up at 133 pounds where he was a national qualifier in both 2020 and 2021. Cooper Flynn is the expected starter this season for the Hokies after a strong true freshman season and will be a fun guy to watch develop throughout his first full season in D1 competition.
