2021 NCAA champion AJ Ferrari announced his commitment to California State Bakersfield Friday morning via social media.

AJ Ferrari, a 2021 NCAA champion for Oklahoma State as a true freshman, made his return to college competition at the Soldier Salute after over two years away from college competition. Ferrari secured a match-winning takedown in sudden victory over potential future Iowa Hawkeye teammate #25 ranked Zach Glazier, but he was disqualified shortly after the match for an on-mat confrontation.

Per his Instagram, NCAA Champion AJ Ferrari has taken an official visit to the University of Iowa.

On Wednesday, August 3, former Oklahoma State wrestler AJ Ferrari was charged with sexual battery. A warrant was then issued for Ferrari’s arrest by the Stillwater Police Department with bond set at $25,000. According to Payne County’s records, Ferrari was booked on Wednesday at 9:12 pm and released at 10:17 pm after posting bond.

AJ Ferrari has officially entered the transfer portal. The 197 lbs 2021 NCAA champion was recently dismissed from the Oklahoma State wrestling team amid a legal investigation for sexual assault. You can read the Stillwater Police Department's statement and Ferrari's legal team's statement HERE.

Earlier today we learned that AJ Ferrari was dismissed from the Oklahoma State wrestling team.  At 3:00 today, the Stillwater Police department released the following tweet about AJ Ferrari (Albert James Ferrari Jr.).  The tweet outlines that AJ is currently under investigation for sexual assault.

While the Oklahoma State star did not confirm he was coming back to the mat this season, he did give Cowboy fans hope saying, "Healing up and getting strong...
