The upsets don't stop for the holidays! We've compiled all the upsets we could find in week 8 of the 2024-25 NCAA D1 wrestling season.

After graduating Frazier High School in Western Pennsylvania,  Rune Lawarence, #13 on the Class of 2024 Big Board, will travel approximately forty miles south to attend West Virginia University. Whether or not the roads Lawrence takes to get to Morgantown will technically qualify as "country" or not will be a matter of debate. Regardless, it's likely the famous John Denver song won't be far out of mind as Lawrence announced on social media that he has committed to wrestle for the West Virginia Mountaineers.

Powerade is a must-watch event on the national high school calendar, and this year's field is no exception. 50 top-20 ranked wrestlers will be in attendance along with a ton of talent ranked just outside the top 20. This year's field also includes 4 different #1 ranked wrestlers. Take a look at the top 8 seeds at each weight along with some other notable names who didn't earn seeds.

This year's Walsh Jesuit Ironman is absolutely loaded. Nearly 100 registered wrestlers are ranked in the top 20 in the country, and over half of those are ranked in the top 10. We'll see 7 #1s and 11 weights with possible top-five matchups. Below is a list of the pre-seeds along with everyone else who's registered at each weight. National rankings are included where applicable.
