Bohdan Abbey delivered a Division 1 state championships as a freshman with a 13-5 decision over Clarkston's Archer Anderson in the title match. Anderson was also fifth in the state last season. Abbey, who also knocked off 2022 state champion Conor McAlary (Hudsonville) in the state semifinals, finished 44-3.
