For the second straight year, Caleb Weiand finished unbeaten, this time 47-0, and captured a Division 1 state championship. He also placed second in 2021 and went 1-2 at the state tournament as a freshman. 

He was third at this year's Grappler Fall Classic, knocking off Florida's Patrick Jones, a Fargo All-American in Greco last summer, in the third-place match. Weiand also went 3-2 at Super 32. 

He finished with a 167-16 career record, 129-1 the past three years.
