Returning state medalist Gauge Botero has dominated his way through the postseason including an 18-3 technical fall win over Jackson Rush for the Southeast Region title. Botero will be looking for his first state title this weekend but will be tested, especially if he meets up with freshman stud Brandt Harer who has had an outstanding season, including four dominant wins over three-time state medalist Branden Wentzel. Aiden Grogg dropped from 127 pounds and entered the rankings at #8. Gideon Bracken defeated Jack Kazalas in the Southwest Region semifinals to move into the rankings at #9.
