57 kg - Rei Higuchi

Olympic champion Rei Higuchi moves to #1 after winning gold highlighted by victories over Spencer Lee and Aman Sehrawat. Lee moves to #2 based on his win over Gulomjon Abdullaev who went on to take bronze while defeating Arsen Harutyunyan. Abdullaev defeated Aman Sehrawat earlier this year so Abdullaev stays above Aman. Abakarov falls behind Aman after Aman defeated Abakarov by tech at the Olympics.

Former #1 Stevan Micic has been removed from the rankings at 57 kg due to suffering an injury that will require surgery, keeping him out of competition for an extended period of time.
