86 kg - Aaron Brooks

Aaron Brooks overtakes the top spot at 86 kg after defeating reigning world and Olympic champion David Taylor in two straight matches at the Olympic trials.

World and Olympic bronze medalist Artur Naifonov comes in at #3 after qualifying for the Olympics at the European Olympic Games Qualifier. Naifonov will likely still have to wrestle off the Russian Nationals champion but Naifonov is the favorite to win the Olympic spot at 86kg.

The wrestlers listed below are all those who qualified through the 2023 World Championships and their respective continental qualifiers. Only three more spots are available and will be earned at the World Olympic Games Qualifier May 9-12.
