2019-20 NCAA DI Rankings
141 Pletch Lives
Luke Pletcher scored the first win over a #1 ranked wrestler of the season when he beat Dom Demas in the finals of the MSU Open. Pletcher assumed the top spot as a result.
Freshman Real Woods begins his assault on the upper echelon with a victory over All-American Sa'Derian Perry.
Dresden Simon's victory over Dylan Duncan vaults him into the top 25. Conversely, Ben Freeman's multiple unranked losses knock him out of the rankings. Duncan is moving up from 133 but it's unclear if either he or Michael Carr will man this weight for the Illini going forward. We've left Carr in for now but will update as necessary.
Paul Konrath bumped up from 133 and lost to Drew Marten, knocking him out of the rankings, though Konrath could be back in the very near future.
Chris Sandoval's Wyoming Open championship was enough to claim the final spot in the top 25.
