Drew Phipps got a big upset at the EIWAs when he knocked off All-American Pat Brucki. Phipps earned a ranking and Brucki slides to #9. At the Big Tens, it was Shakur Rasheed beating Jacob Warner and Lucas Davison defeating Christian Brunner that caused the most movement. 

The Big 12 produced the most conundrums from their season-ending tournament, as was the case in most weight classes. Dakota Geer was upset by Stephan Buchanan, but also beat Jake Woodley and Jacob Seely. Seely and Cordell Eaton both beat Buchanan and Tanner Orndorff. Despite those losses, Orndorff still has wins over Davison and Tanner Sloan this season, so go figure. Noah Adams has at least remained consistent, winning a Big 12 title and finishing the season undefeated.

Finally, Jaron Smith, Wyatt Koelling, and Colin McCracken all suffered defeats at their conference tournaments and drop out of the top 25.
