Magomed Ramazanov won the Henri Deglane and in the process beat Zahid Valencia, 8-7. Ramazanov has placed bronze at the last two Russian Nationals at 86kg and won the 2020 Yarygin at 79kg. Look for Ramazanov to contend for the Olympic Spot at 86kg but ultimately drop down to 79kg for 2021 Worlds.

Jabrayil Hasanov drops out of the rankings after announcing his retirement. Hasanov was a multiple time world medalist at numerous weights. Most recently he lost the finals of the World Championships to Kyle Dake in both 2018 and 2019. Hasanov’s retirement opens up a spot for Fatih Erdin to slide back into the rankings.
