Because most tournaments were postponed, there were limited results in March. The only notable tournaments were the Pan-Am Championships and the Pan-Am Olympic Games Qualifier. Due to the limited results, there was no movement at 57kg in the rankings.

#16 Thomas Gilman avenged a loss to a tough Reineri Ortega (CUB) and qualified 57kg for the United States for the Olympics. In the finals, Gilman received a forfeit from the other Olympic Games qualifier, Oscar Urbano (COL).
