Azamat Tuskaev won the Ivan Poddubny tournament in Russia with ranked wins over #18 Abubakar Mutaliev and #5 Nachyn Mongush. The aforementioned Mongush had been wrestling up at 61 but took silver a the Poddubny tournament after defeating #6 Ramiz Gamzatov and unranked Musa Mekhtikhanov. Gamazatov and Mutaliev both came back to earn bronze and hold their spots in the rankings. 

Vito Arujau won the world team trials but doesn’t move into the top 20 as there were no ranked wrestlers in the field. Arujau will take on defending world champion Thomas Gilman at Final X on June 3. 

It’s also worth noting that Nurislam Sanayaev has been removed from the rankings. Sanayev won a bronze medal at last year’s Olympics but hasn’t wrestled since then.
