Jordan Burroughs is back on top at 79 kg after defeating Chance Marsteller in two-straight matches at World Team Trials. Alex Dieringer defeated Marsteller at the Olympic Trials, but Marsteller had a better career at 79 kg and defeated Ringer at the 2023 US Open, so he stayed at #2 at 79 kg while Ringer stayed ahead of him at 86 kg.

Keegan O'Toole, David Carr, and Levi Haines provided quite the problem when O'Toole beat Carr, Haines beat O'Toole, and Carr beat Haines. I gave O'Toole the nod atop the ranker's delight as he defeated Carr on the frontside while Haines defeated O'Toole on the backside and O'Toole was the only one coming into the tournament with a ranking at an Olympic weight.
