2019-20 NCAA DI Rankings
149 Sammy Kaiser Sassoze
Kizhan Clarke lost twice to lower-ranked wrestlers (Jarod Verkleeren and Colston DiBlasi), but his earlier win over Kanen Storr allows him to find a 'ranker's equilibrium' in between Storr and Verkleeren. Vekeleeren's wins over #13 Martin and Clarke plus his losses to unranked Josh Maruca and #25 Jimmy Hoffman means his equilibrium is below Clarke's. Verk settles in behind Purinton, who beat the Nittany Lion a month ago.
Colston DiBlasi moves ahead of Alirez, because although DiBlasi has three unranked losses compared to zero for Alirez, DiBlasi has more ranked wins (Clarke and #22 Jonathan Milner), whereas Alirez just has one ranked win over Milner, and that was enough to fend off DiBlasi.
Elsewhere, Tanner Smith cooled off the red hot Graham Rooks, causing the Hoosier to fall a few spots. But that was not enough for Smith to overcome Milner, who has beaten him twice this season, including earlier this month, so Smith stays at #23.
