Swiderski is No. 1 in the current 138-pound national rankings, No. 17 pound-for-pound and No. 8 on the Class of 2022 Big Board. The Iowa State signee pulled off a shocker at Who's #1, edging Indiana's Jesse Mendez, then No. 1 pound-for-pound, 7-6.
Swiderski also finished second in the 138-pound freestyle competition in Fargo. He racked up some impressive wins, including over New Jersey state champion Ty Whalen, No. 5 nationally at 145 and New York state champion and 12th-ranked Rocco Camillaci.
Swiderski captured a third state championship last season and finished 30-0. He has a 115-3 high school record.
