74 - Kyle Dake

Kyle Dake is the favorite to win gold at the world championships with the absence of Zaurbek Sidaov and Magomedkhabib Kadimagomedov. Sidakov is reportedly sitting out of the world championships and Kadimagomedov looks to be moving up to 79kg. 

After Dake, the depth at 74kg is still fantastic. Khetik Tsabolov, a former world champion, will be in the field along with former world medalists Avtandil Kentchadze and Geandry Garzon. On top of that, Taimuraz Salkazanov won the 2021 European Championships and defeated Avtandil Kentchadze, Razambek Zhamalov and Frank Chamizo there.
