92 - Kamran Ghasempour

Defending world champion Kamran Ghasempour is ranked #1 in these rankings and currently holds the #1 seed based on his performance last year in Oslo. Cox, the current #3 seed, is a big favorite to meet Ghasempour in the finals for a rematch of their bout from last year's world championships. In that match, Ghasempour was able to secure the only takedown and fend off all of Cox's attempts to secure the 3-3 criteria victory. 

A dark horse at this year's world championships is Turkey's Feyzullah Akturk who was dominant at the European Championships in March. On top of the gold medal at Euros, Akturk is a two-time junior world bronze medalist (2017 and 2019) and won Turkey's national tournament in December. Look for Akturk to be the rep in Serbia and challenge the likes of Cox and Ghasempour.
