149 - Yianni Diakomihalis
Yianni Diakomihalis made history by becoming only the 5th 4-time NCAA Champion when he defeated Sammy Sasso in the NCAA finals, 4-2. After that, Shayne Van Ness made a huge jump by taking third with wins over Kyle Parco, Caleb Henson, Graham Rooks, and Paniro Johnson.
One thing that should stand out is Yahya Thomas being ranked at #6 despite failing to place at the NCAA Tournament. Thomas only lost to runner-up Sasso and 5th-place finisher Caleb Henson. Beyond that, Thomas defeated All-American Michael Blockhus at the NCAA tournament and Max Murin earlier this season. Because of that Thomas, retains his high ranking at 149.
