2022-23 NCAA DI Rankings
285 - Mason Parris
Mason Parris capped off his senior season by going undefeated and winning a national title by defeating Greg Kerkvliet in the finals, 5-1. Parris also recorded wins over Tony Cassioppi and Lucas Davison to give him victories over the 2nd, 4th, and 5th place finishers in Tulsa.
While Tate Orndorff lost to Taye Ghadali early in the tournament, Orndorff wrestled back to make the round of 12 before losing to Cohlton Schultz. On his way to the blood round, Orndoff defeated Owen Trephan, Grady Griess, and Garrett Joles. Those wins (especially the Trephan one) are enough to hold his spot in the rankings. On the other side of things, Ghadali went on to lose to Josh Heindselman, keeping Ghadali at the #19 spot.
