Taha Akgul Retains #1 At 125kg

#3 Bilyal Makhov (RUS) has been dropped down four spots to #7 in the rankings due to inactivity. 

#6 Jamaladdin Magomedov (AZE) won the Medved with a 7-1 win over Zhiwei Deng (CHN) and notched a 3-2 win over Giorgi Sakandelidze (QAT) in the semis. 

#10 Anzor Khizriev (RUS) won the Ziolkowski with a 10-0 win over 2016 European runner-up Robert Baran (POL). 

#14 Komeil Ghasemi (IRI) returned to action after having not competed since December of last year at the World Club Cup. Upon his return, Ghasemi won the Korkin with a 2-0 win in the finals over Zolboo Natsagsuren (MGL).

New additions to the rankings are #16 Robert Baran (POL) and #17 Zhiwei Deng (CHN). Baran is in for his runner-up finish at the Ziolkowski and his title at the Miner’s Glory over U-23 European champ Kamil Kosciolek (POL) along with the fact he beat Deng 7-3 in the semis of the Ziolkowski. Zhiwei Deng (CHN) enters the rankings at #17 after a bronze medal finish at the Ziolkowski along with a runner-up finish at the Medved that saw him notch a 10-0 tech fall win over Russian Nationals bronze medalist #16 Said Gamidov (RUS).
