Having won the 2019 Russian Nationals and 2019 World Championship, David Baev becomes the undisputed #1. Next up is Gadzhiev, who beat four world medalists on his way to a bronze medal. 

Batirov, whose only other tournament since his 2018 world silver is a fifth-place finish at the 2019 Asian Championships, was able to beat Mustafaev to earn a spot in the top 10 once again. 

Like many of his countrymen, Kaiponov had a great tournament on home soil, beating Emami in the semifinals and moving up to #9. 

Green's loss to Gadzhiev doesn't hurt him much, while Navruzov, Umarpashaev and Ganzoring climb into the top 20 thanks to their efforts in Nur-Sultan.
