2019 International Rankings - Men's Freestyle

125 KG Geno Petriashvili (GEO)

NOTES FROM NUR-SULTAN

Geno Petriashvili once again took out his rival Taha Akgul to win his third consecutive world championship and record another chapter in this historic heavyweight rivalry.

It's possible, probable even, that Komeil Ghasemi retired, especially after he received the 2012 Olympic gold following Artur Taymazov failed drug re-test. Thus, Ghasemi has been removed from the rankings.

Rakhimov is the biggest gainer, with wins over Deng and Ligeti helping his cause.

Gwiazdowski's loss to Mohebbi doesn't change much, and the only other real movement is Dhesi, who drops to #17 despite a win over Khugaev in Poland. Dhesi did not start for Canada, who instead wrestled Korery Jarvis, who was eliminated after losing to Baran his first match of the tournament.
