2022-23 Ohio Division II High School Rankings
132 pounds
132 had several shakeups in every district, but the most notable result was Louisville's Dylan Rhoads beating former #1 Donovan Paes in their district finals. Paes has been ranked #1 all season, and Rhoads has been outside the top five. Rhoads also took out ranked Brogan Fielding, who came back to place third at Garfield Heights. Ducat and Torres switched places at #7 and #8 because Ducat won 6-1 over Torres in the Norwalk district.
Another important note was Tucker of Graham winning his district with three tech-falls and a pin. One of his tech-falls came in the final over strong Lindsay of Watterson. Tucker will be the new #1 heading in state since Paes dropped a match, and Tucker's resume is the best. Saccoccia also proved he is a title contender smashing through the Steubenville district.
