Wilmington district caused the most significant changes, with four of the top five competitors in Wilmington. Rathburn was ranked #2 before the weekend, but after losing in the finals to Hughes, he will drop to #3. Hughes takes the #2 spot since he beat McCoy and Rathburn, who beat Murphy. Hughes gets the points for winning in a strong field. Whoever draws someone from this district at state needs to be ready to go right out of the gate!
Louden Dixon of West Holmes goes from unranked to #7 after avenging a sectional loss in the district finals over #8 Carman of Carrollton. This result could create a massive shakeup at the state tournament. Jesse Badiu won a tough field beating #9 and #10 in the field at Garfield Heights.
