Gadzhimagomedov Maintains #1 At 79kg

Russian Nationals runner-up #3 Khusey Suyunchev (RUS) has moved down to 74 KG where he won the Stepan Sargsyan cup over Valter Margaryan (ARM). Currently, Suyunchev is #7 at the weight and due to his departure at 79 KG, everyone gets moved up a spot.
#3 Alex Dieringer (USA) won the Medved with a 15-5 win over Davletmurat Orazgylyjov (TKM). Orazgylyjov made his way into the finals with a 8-6 upset win over Russian Nationals bronze medalist #16 Gadzhi Nabiyev (RUS) and debuts in the rankings at #18.
#7 Tazhidin Akaev (RUS) won a University world title over Yajuro Yamasaki (JPN) but would notch a runner-up finish to #8 Ali Shabanov (BLR) in the finals of the Miner’s glory tournament. While there he beat European runner-up #19 Martin Obst (GER) and #14 Ibragim Yusubov (AZE).
#8 Ali Shabanov (BLR) moves up four spots in the rankings after an excellent Miner’s Glory tournament that saw him beat #7 Tazhidin Akaev (RUS) and Ziolkowski champ #14 Magomed Ramazanov (RUS) on his way to the title.
#9 Kakhaber Khubezhty (RUS) won the Korkin title over #20 Jumber Kvelashvili (GEO) 14-4. In the semifinals, Khubezhty was able to beat Ali Aliyev champ #13 Ibragim Yusubov (AZE) 7-4, and Yusubov would end up with a bronze medal after winning a 12-8 match with Islam Kilic (TUR).
#14 Magomed Ramazanov (RUS) won his third international title this year with a pin win over 2011 74 KG world bronze medalist David Khutsishvili (GEO) in the Ziolkowski finals. Ramazanov stays steady in the rankings at #14 while Khutsishvili enters the rankings at #16 off the strength of his runner-up finish at the Ziolkowski where he beat U-23 European runner-up Johnny Bur (FRA) and Kazakhstan National champ Saken Aitzhanov (KAZ), along with a win at last year’s world cup at 86 KG where he beat #2(92) Sharif Sharifov (AZE).
