Sadulaev Stays #1 At 97kg

#5 Nurmagomed Gadzhiev (AZE) won the Korkin and the Miner’s Glory tournament this month, beating #8 Igor Ovsyannikov (RUS) twice and taking out Batsul Ulziisaikhan (MGL) in the finals of the Korkin. 

#6 Elizbar Odikadze (GEO) lost a 2-2 first round match in pool action at the Ziolkowski to Mamed Ibragimov (KAZ), but came back and teched his way through the tournament beating Ibragimov 12-2  along with beating Ion Cornianu Memorial champ Abraham De Jesus Conyedo Ruano (ITA) and Final X runner-up Kyven Gadson (USA).  

#11 Georgi Ketoev (ARM) won the Stepan Sargsyan Cup while #20 Givi Matcharashvili (GEO) won the Sargsyan up at 125 KG where he notched a win over #15 Giorgi Sakandelidze (QAT). 

#16 Aleksandr Husthyn (BLR) won the Medved with a 2-2 win in the finals over #17 Fatih Yasarli (TUR). #13 Riza Yildirim (TUR) falls five spots in the rankings to #18 after losing 7-0 in the qualification round to eventual fifth-place finisher Valerii Andriitsev (UKR). Fatih Yasarli (TUR) enters the rankings at #17 after his runner-up finish at the Medved that saw him notch wins over #19 Zainulla Kurbanov (RUS), Valerii Andriitsev (RUS), and Ty Walz (USA). 

#16 Aleksandr Husthyn (BLR) dropped a 3-2 match to 2017 Junior world champ Shamil Ali Musaev (RUS) but he doesn’t move anywhere in the rankings due to his title at the Medved.
