2020-21 Wisconsin High School Rankings
2020-21 Wisconsin High School Rankings: 145
This is Division 2's best weight, even after four-time finalist and two-time champ Aidan Medora graduated into the Badger wrestling room. Scoles just merged onto Four-Timer Highway. He has three titles to go, a full tank of gas, it's dark, and he's wearing shades.
Joining him in the 145-pound rankings are four other wrestlers from his state bracket: #6 Ethan Schwartz, #7 Walker Ingham, #8 Jared Stricker, and #9 Lowell Arnold. Schwartz, Stricker, and Ingham beat each other in a paper-rock-scissors fashion. Schwartz's win over Stricker was by seven points, Stricker's two wins over Ingham were by four and five points, and Ingham's win over Schwartz was a sudden victory. Arnold lost by two and one points to Scoles and Schwartz and missed out on the rest of the bracket.
Ganos's only in-state loss was his half of a two-match split with state champ Max Ehlen. Meanwhile, 2-for-2 Division 3 champ Kole Marko fell by four points to Leo Draveling. Drake Hayward goes before Isaac Ortegon based on his state series rubber match win, taking fifth in the process. Garnett Stebane slips in over a sixth DII wrestler, Wyatt Esker.
