The top three wrestlers at this weight have a tier unto themselves. John Gunderson, who seemed to get banged up in the state finals with Mason Diel, up 5-2 through two periods, could have potentially been #1 with that win. Trett Joles's schedule last year betrays his dominance, as he got few cracks at top-notch wrestlers, with a state semifinal pin over John Bieber being the lone exception. 

The rest have nice head-to-head pegs, with Blaine Guthrie beating Mason Hughes and Aaron Heine, Hughes beating Thomas Witkins and Ben Strehlow, and Heine beating Strehlow. Even the first two to miss the cut fall into a line nicely, with Witkins beating Trevor Stuyvenberg, who beat Deiondre Williams three out of four. Josh Schorer was the toughest to rank, with just two losses, okay wins, and very little interaction with the rest of the ranked field.
