106 is always an interesting weight, with few bubble guys entering the top 10. The top five also proved they deserved to be in the top tier of the weight. Schroer won all of his matches by bonus point victory. He pinned #8 Jones in the finals of their district. We also saw #1 Mattin vs. #2 Fuller in the final of Rossford, but freshman Fuller would fall to the returning state champ 14-5. 

Perry had a strong showing, with #3 Pikor taking home the district title. He beat #10 Newell and #6 Lawson on his route to a district championship. #7 Patterson was also in that bracket beating Newell to punch his ticket to state. Finally, former top-five Taylor from Covington went 2-2 on districts, failing to make it to the state tournament losing to Jones of Brookville and new top 10 guy Ethan Cantrell of West Union.
