The top wrestlers at the weight faced off in their district finals. To start, #1 Campbell and #4 Dean had a 5-3 decision match, with Campbell staying in the top spot. #3 Hermes and #5 Barnes also faced off in the Rossford district, with Hermes remaining in the #3 spot, winning 4-2 over Barnes. #6 Rossiter and #7 Boggs switched spots in the rankings after Rossiter got a win over Boggs in their district. Cornell entered the rankings at #10 after outplacing several bubble and former-ranked wrestlers to make the state tournament. 

Perry had some interesting backside results. New #8 Pierce placed 3rd behind #9 Hering, who placed second. They both got pinned by Perry champion #2 Schulke. Pierce beat the sectional champ, Kemble, who beat Hering the week prior, so Pierce will take the spot above Hering heading into the state championships.
